VACATION 2011

Well off we go for a 4night stay 500 miles away from home. Pray that God's mercy is on us. Things have been real touchy lately but I was blessed by a dear friend's visit yesterday, a healthy argument with the spouse and the kids are excited and I believe that THIS birthday vacation will be a success, but extra prayer never hurt anybody!! Change is coming, look out.

Camp Play

Its about 93 decrease and I sit in an unair-conditioned auditorium for the love of a child. She's in a play, when I asked what was the name she said it was called THE GREEN DOT. So I'm here on the edge of my hot seat, sweat pouring down already to hear my Amari in her first play....stay tuned. By the way the kids smell like horse poopy! #IJS

U can't get it back

Time! Make the best of ur time because u can't turn it back. Enjoy time with ur family, ur friends and ur loved ones. Me and my best friend have been together 12 years, married for 9 yrs come this September, have four kids together and have weathered some rough times. But @ the end of every argument ... I still believe he's the one God meant for me to grow old with. Even if he does make me mad enough to SPIT! :-D As I get older, I also realized arguing for hours and maybe not talking or walking away or my favorite being SILENT is pointless! MJ said we need L O V E! :-)

Emotional

Anytime of the day is the worst time of the day to hear bad news. I just heard a mother drove three of her children into the Hudson River in NY last nite. How much pain she must have experienced in order to even contemplate such a thing. Now the fourth child must live with that tragedy for th rest of his life, unless he ends his life early as well. God controls the world, this I believe but it indeed saddens my heart all the same to hear that people suffer such mental instability to take another persons' life. Praying for that family.

Marriage

When you're young, u have thoughts of the perfect relationship. As u get older and experience relationships, u learn that everyone is NOT compatible. U learn everyone is not for YOU. U learn that u can only put up with so much. If ur lucky, u learned this before u turn 30! If not, ur lucky ur not married, LOL :-)

Noone can ever prepare you for YOUR marriage. U seen ur parents marriage, ur friends marriage, the neighbors, the people in the church, you just never know the going ons and the in's and outs. Some marriages don't have the right foundation, the blessing of God. It's not enough to just to be in love, there has to be more.

I thank God for the man He sent into my life. He may not be perfect, the most romantic or the richest. But the fact that God sanctioned our reunion ...that is the true meaning and foundation of a marriage. Love my husband dearly.

i can breath and smile again

Unless you have been enslaved and abused for a paycheck for three and half years (or more) this will be lost on you. Working in fear of retaliation, working in an environment of constant unethical and blatant disregard of humanity can absolutely deteriorate you spirit and soul.

There are no words that I could pen that could lay out the outrageous behavior that has been allowed on the only community college campus in Baltimore City. People have been denied overtime, compensation given based on loyalty level, people harassed, followed /tracked during off days, lied to, shitted on, disrespected, lead by piss-poor leadership - the soil itself is demonic.

When the light shined a pin-size ray of hope at the real world away from the land of Liberty Heights Avenue, I grabbed it, caressed it, prayed over it and relished in it. 45 hours later my dreams had been cut up, chopped up, diced up, puréd machéted and other countless synonyms that describe BAMBOOZLED! Led astray. This led to two and half months of sheer blissless hell. :-(

After praying to get fired, to be able to move to another position, to crawl out the door an alternative came along by the gracious hands of the lord! GOD will put you in places and around people to force you grow, force you to learn and force you to fight back against what is not godly! It took me longer than I care to log but GOD is good and allowed me a way out. I feel like a freed prisoner! TODAY I can breath a sigh of relieve and smile and pray for those I have left behind!!

Monday!

Well the weekend was nice. Made a trip down 95 to see Big Delia for about 1.9 seconds. Saw both brothers and sister, a niece and a nephew. And of course Papi Jr. Had a good spiritual rejuvenation at the Queen and King's church. Visited an old friend ...watched GI Joe with the family and was pooped. Now here it is Monday and GOD is speaking to me and its all muffled. I know this battle is his and I should allow him to fight it but me oh my! This job has definitely brought me deeper into my faith in GOD and ...nothing else. I have nothing to give this place, no loyalty, none of my talent, absolutely no gratitude. this place is of the devil and it shall go down as the devil should. I don't understand how an organization of this magnitude can allow the shady, under-handed, unfair, unjust, corrupt and illegal actions to occur and there be no, absolutely no recourse, no accountability, no one step forth and we'll make this right. SAD SAD SAD!! and off I go to probably get fired today. 2-14-2011 oh happy valentine's day!

Dear God, let this almost be over already

The worst decision of my life was to beg to come to this place. Year after year and change after change this has got to be the WORSEST place to work, EVER! Where do they allow foolishness and lies to over run the power and righteousness of the almighty. Apparently here, right here at Baltimore City Community College. The faculty has voted no-confidence in the President, and her direct staff. The union has questioned the leadership of one wiggle tooth Director in Human Resources. However they all are still holding their posts. You lie and misrepresent your knowledge and you can still look at your staff with a straight face. Very sad indeed. GOD shall never forsake me, but he is definitely on HIS own timetable. I'm Trying to be an obedient child of God as I have been in the past but Lord Jesus Christ watch over me please.

1-5-2011 Looking back on my post from last year, I did not really resolve much but neither did I complete much. So, in 2011, I'll keep to the first 3 resolutions i've shared with only the spouse. #1 get the children baptized. . . all four of them. I know, i know, it's late. But better late than never.

#2 Raise my credit score to be able to be in my FIRST home by the end of times in 2012. And that will be a combination of paying of bills, creating that budget and STICKING to the budget and getting a CERTAIN someone to see my vision and get on board!!! #3 to get to the gym at least twice a week....REALISTIC SMALL GOALS!!! Of course I have a barrage of other items but why post them up if I know by the end of the month, I'll be saying...Oh well maybe I'll tackle that next year. So I'll start with these three and see how they go. . . I'll tell you about my first gym visit of 2011 later!!!!
